Yesterday

marked nine years since I packed the smalls and all our worldly goods up into a van and drove us all up to Scotland to join the 'as he was then' him indoors to start our new life.

We worked out that big one has lived in Scotland for over half her life so far, wee one has lived in Scotland for 99% of her life so far and I've lived up here for nearly a quarter of my life so far.

Nine years later and a few things have changed in our lives, some good, some bad, some great and some bloody awful but me and the smalls keep smiling. :)

On the 25th of this month I will have left Scotland and have lived in England for 11 years, the vast majority of the kids life and a quarter of mine.

I also followed the ex.

I bet there are a few more of us in that club!

Hi Taz,
just sitting here doing a breathing treatment and I'd thought I would drop in and say "Howdy!"

Sometimes I feel like we shouldn't have moved here to San Antonio...we had regrets at first but I have come to love it here. I just miss my parents very much but luckily, mom and dad are retired and come quite frequently. Mom just left Sunday after taking care of us the week before. We are both in the last days of bronchitis but I'm still having quite a bit of wheezing so hence the breathing treatments...blah!

Hope you have a great day today! I'm heading back to bed...lol!
