My thoughts and heart

are both with all those being so deeply affected by the fires in Australia. I have friends who live over there that I have been out of touch with for too long so tonight I had to jump online and let them know they were in my thoughts.

I've noticed a lot of people are putting the proceeds of their Etsy shops or other donations over to help out those over there. What a fantastic community the blogosphere is. ((((((hugs))))))

While I have yet to dip my toe into the worlds of either Etsy or Folksy I would like to make a step forward in that direction. I have noticed quite a few people sell things through their blogs but I am clueless as to how you get those pay now buttons etc. Can anyone help out a dumb Taz?

Safe dreams my friends, tomorow I will be back with awards I've received, a giveaway that I received that is gorgeous and what I have been up to with my flowery new teacups. Well that's tomorrow as in later today, as it is now 1.20am here and I have to go now wrap up my big one's birthday presents and write her card. My wee baby is 14 tomorrow! How can I possible be old enough to have a 14 year old?!?

Hi girl!
Wow, a fourteen year old...how can that be? I thought you were my age....20! (I wish I was 20!....hmmm, or maybe not. I wouldn't want to re-live everything again!)

My sister has many of her blogger friends in Australia but they must not be anywhere near that fire or she would have called me right away. We said prayers last night and luckily, my brother in-law just returned yesterday from Australia where he had to attend a business conference for a week. We were getting worried about him being over there.

Hugs,
Deanna :D

Scary isn't it? My uncle lives in Sydney but right in the centre so he's safe.

I've no idea how to put on one of the thingies you click to pay, sorry hun! I've wondered about starting some kind of folksy/etsy account but I don't think my stuff is good enough. If you do set one up make sure you let us know!!!

Hello lovely

Stop with the nice comments, I'm too old to blush! Ask away anything you like, I'm happy to help. The lavender I got was from http://stores.ebay.co.uk/The-Alchemists-Apothecary on ebay. I bought a 200g which worked out at £3.65 inc p&p and it's done seven hearts and three little sachets and still probably a third left! It is so lovely and strong smelling!

Hope your daughter had a great 14th birthday. A belated happy birthday to her.

Sorry I can't help you with the button thing. Haven't a clue.

Love your small feet photo. I'm not quite sure how you got hold of a photo of me and my mates, though. It's true that I have small feet. Size 2 1/2. Difficult!

What lovely fabric, a couple of posts ago. I have to confess that I got terribly excited when I saw the fabric with fairy cakes. It's lovely! What a sad person I am.
