Cosy sundays

My it's cold today so I was glad there was nowhere where we were supposed to be today but home with the fire lit and the soup on the stove. Though I did have to pop to the local shop late afternoon to get some milk but there you go someone had to do it.
The most energetic thing I've done today is feed the small people and iron their uniforms ready for school in the morning. Oh yeah and I washed all the dishes, sorted out some paperwork, put out the recycling bins, put more washing in the machine, emptied the dryer, emptied the bins... Oh man why do us women think that if we've not been on our feet for 12 hours we haven't done anything?

Tomorrow I have the joy of having to stay in waiting for a delivery, no nothing exciting for me. Well I guess it will stop me from utilising any avoidance tactics and leaving the house. :)

Ah now if only this prediction had come true.

LOL I think I might try a hose in this place! Shouldn't we all be wearing spacesuits and eating food out of tubes too???

Hope you're having a nice day at home in the warm. I know what you mean about the chores, though it's totally depressing when you've spent hours doing loads and you turn around and the kids have wrecked the place (again) :-S

I know what you mean with the house work - I get adgitated if I am sat doing nothing, when I have just spent all day cleaning up etc!

My husband has to do the washing up in stages, and this can take up most of his day!

Sounds very nice and cosy, don't you just hate it how you work so hard doing or the boring mundane stuff and nobody notices!
they only say something when they want the only shirt you haven't ironed yet!

I usually find I have to rewash the dishes if Mr P does them, he never uses hot water! mind you it probably was hot when he started, but he's sooooooo slow!
