with excitment.....for a change.
Tomorrow I go to see the handsome Si, oh and his mate. The Hairy Bikers!
A friend told me tonight that she met them at a bike show and they're actually miserable buggers when the cameras not rolling! :o
I hope she was just winding me up but I'll volunteer to put a smile on Si's face ;)

Sorry
there has been no posts from me. It's been somewhat of a crappy week. My very dear friend was killed in a car crash on Monday. Someone jumped a red light and wiped out the life of a wonderful person.
Shock, anger, pain are just some of the emotions we her friends are dealing with. I can't imagine what her husband and young sons are going through but my heart is aching for them.

Small change
Hmmm just wondering if I'll find any loose change down the back of the sofa as I'm a bit short to be able to afford this fab chandelier.
It's only a mere £13,148.00 but isn't it fabulous. Just perfect to hang over my Mad Hatter's tea party table don't you think?
It's designed by Winnie Lui and is one of 50 individual limited edition designs. You can check it out at www.rockettstgeorge.co.uk I've forgotten how to do links, useless article that I am.
Thank you everyone for your comments, it's always so lovely to get feedback and know I'm not just rambling to myself. :) I'd love to hear what you all think of the film if you go to see it. Big one said last night she really wants to watch it again, so I don't know if she'll be making her way back to the cinema with her pals before long :)
Mother's day is zooming up on us again. Big one will be away at yet another camp so it looks like it will be just me and wee one. If I'm lucky I'll get one of her wonderful handmade creations and fingers crossed the sun will shine so we can get out for a walk with the monster dog.
Mind you I wouldn't mind being served breakfast in bed by this chap. ;)

A bit of the Depp
Oh I do so love a certain Mr Depp and a certain Mr Burton has one of the most amazing imaginations that is slightly scarey but oh so fascinating.
The lastest Burton offering of Alice in Wonderland does not disappoint.
Tonight big one and myself went off to watch AIW in 3D and wow did we enjoy it.
There is something for all the family in the film and the effects are just breathtaking. I forsee us all suddenly finding ourselves making a whole lot of AIW themed things for around the house. My mind is certainly buzzing.
Now is the wait for the DVD, obviously Disney knew what a hit this film was going to be as the DVD is due to hit the shops in about 12 weeks.
I'm not sure big one and I can wait that long.
See even with bright ginger hair, blue and green eyeshadow and the craziest eyes he's still just gorgeous!
And I would just be so at home at this tea time table, go as crazy as you like, no one will notice! :)

And the results are in
I've been suffering with episodes of intense pain for the last three years, yes I know I should have done something about it all a lot sooner than now, and I finally admitted I needed to do something about it. So after visiting the Dr, having blood tests and an ultrasound scan the results have come back with the diagnosis that I have one large gallstone.
Looking back to when this all started with all the information there is out there about gallstones I think my losing 7 stone in one year may not have helped and now I fall into the fat and forty category :D
Anyway I'm now being referred to the surgeon and my Dr says the options are usually either them going in and just pulling out the stone or taking the whole gallbladder out. Can't say I'm thrilled about the thought of surgery but when you've been in so much pain you'd rather give birth drug free than face another night writhing in agony and banging your head off the wall then it's kind of a relief to know that something is going to be done to take away the pain.
Oh and I forgot to say Dydd Gwyl Dewi Sant Hapus i bawb. (Happy St David's Day to all) Tomorrow will mark 8 years since me and the smalls left Wales to live here in bonny Scotland.
