The smalls go back to school a week today. I guess I must be one of those odd mums (well ok I know that, you know that and everyone else seems to know that) as I'm not one of those women who have a manic smile on their faces and a glint of something dangerous in their eyes everytime someone mentions the countdown. I miss the smalls when they go to school, ok maybe that's a tadge over dramatic obviously I'm grateful to be able to get the house sort of tidy for the few hours their out of the house and I'm extremely grateful to get some proper crafting time but hey call my crazy but I like my small people and on a good day they seem to like me :D
Unfortunately this week has been a bit of a non starter for me in all ways, that bloody pit of doom, anyway if the weather would kindly stop chucking wet stuff down me and the smalls should be able to have some good fun before they get back to homework and the million out of school activiites they have on. Yep that's my Mum's Taxi sign back on top of the car :)

Wow, your summer holidays are short up there man! I don't go back to school until the 15th September!
No we broke up at the beginning of July. The smalls get between 6-7 weeks for the summer and 2 weeks off for the tattie holidays (October half term) so they don't do to bad ;)
