Collections

It started with the odd heart rock

Then the odd bit of sea glass

Now it's turned into a proper collection. The smalls often bring me heart rocks or bits of sea glass home with them from their travels and big one has even told me that she wants to inherit all the sea glass when I'm gone. LOL

What natural collections do you have?

Love the heart stones. I collect pebbles and and shells with holes in them. I wanted to do something crafty with them but haven't managed anything yet apart from stringing a few shells together - not very interestingly. I also collect bits of ceramic from the various beaches I go to and have displayed them in a glass vase.

My partner used to collect sea glass but I'm ashamed to say that I chucked them away because they were cluttering up the top of our chest of drawers! That's bad isn't it?

Yeah Loo that's REAL bad! LOL

I'll be keeping my eyes open for shells with holes in them now, I take it you don't just meant the snail like ones?

What's not to love about sea glass? Love the look and the smooth feel of it. I have a huge collection of seashells from when my kids were little. Happy times!
